Iberia’s Watusi has become part of our light gray program, which makes him
the first white buck to attain such role since Iberia’s Waldo did it in 2003.
To add a white to my light gray program is to recognize an excellent white, for I do not take lightly the crossing
of light grays with any other variety. Well, Watusi did not disappoint
anyone: he was Best Opposite White at the Cortland Spring Shows twice and Best of Breed at the ESFGRBA Specialty in Spencer
MA, where he beat 89 other Flemish. Watusi was retired from showing in 2014 after racking up 11 Grand Champion Legs. Many
of his descendants are leading sires all over the country, from Michigan to Hawaii. Watusi's Mom was the best light gray
doe I have ever raised-Iberia’s Graciela.
